Leadership & Learning
The Office of Leadership & Learning supports the development of civically engaged leaders through living-learning communities, service-learning and civic engagement, and leadership development programs.
Students who participate in Leadership & Learning programs will:
- Develop a stronger sense of belonging and community at ODU
- Engage in self-reflection to better understand oneself and the world around them
- Develop key leadership competencies necessary for today's workforce and global citizenship
- Serve the local community through service-learning experiences, civic engagement, and application of the social change model of leadership development

The ODU Women’s Initiative Network Mentor Program was established by First Lady Emerita Kate Broderick and ODU Board of Visitors member Pamela Kirk to provide students with additional resources for their continued success.
